Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for managing a defined project scope from inception through successful completion for CTCI. The Project Manager serves as a project leader, responsible for the: safe delivery, on-budget performance, specified fulfillment, scope control, general project administration, and timely completion of our projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for all phases of project management providing leadership from planning to execution, construction support, turnaround execution to commissioning on small to medium projects. Plans, organizes, coordinates and controls engineering, procurement, and construction projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. Furthermore, the Project Manager may serve as a Proposal Manager for a small to medium domestic or international project proposal. Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Fiscal responsibility for a project
  • Lead all aspects of a defined project scope, liaising with project team members to ensure compliance with project specifications and goals
  • Coordination with project team members to ensure alignment with CTCI project goals
  • Leadership of technical teams to achieve CTCI project goals
  • Develop and deploy the Project Execution Plan
  • Reporting of technical and commercial project status to CTCI Management teams
  • Reporting of technical and commercial project status to external Client and/or Partner Management teams
  • Implement Project Execution procedures
  • Identify Project Risks and Countermeasures
  • Overall responsibility of the project life cycle, from pursuit to completion
  • Establish project goals and communicate definitions of project success
  • Comply with all CTCI Company and HSE procedures and policies.

Required Skills

  • Must demonstrate the ability to cooperatively with others from the CTCI management teams
  • Must be an initiator and a finisher
  • Possesses strong technical and commercial acumen
  • Ability to perform under schedule and budget pressure
  • Ability to positively influence by example
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Word, Excel, etc.
  • Manage to Execution of Approved Plans for the respective areas of responsibility, support the success of the overall Program.
  • Contract Management knowledge.
  • Competency in construction of CSA and MEP trades.
  • Competency in Change Management
  • Willingness to travel to Client Offices, Supplier Facilities, or Project Sites as required

Education and Experience

  • B.S. of Engineering preferred or relevant experience required
  • 10+ years of relevant experience required
  • Proven managerial experience required
  • Experience in working on Commercial/Industrial projects in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience in Lump Sum and or Guarantee Maximum Price contracts.
