Job Description

Title: No Surprises Act Compliance & Dispute Resolution Manager

Location: United States (Remote)

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Compensation: $90,000 (USD)/year

Overview:

We’re hiring a professional to lead regulatory compliance and dispute resolution processes. This role plays a critical function in supporting our clients—primarily U.S. self-funded employers and health plans—through evolving billing regulations, particularly under the No Surprises Act.

This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role where you'll negotiate provider disputes, prepare arbitration submissions, and build scalable legal infrastructure as part of a fast-moving and mission-driven team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the resolution of U.S. healthcare payment disputes, including direct negotiation with medical providers and submission of formal arbitration cases.
  • Ensure client documentation and workflows are compliant with U.S. federal requirements (especially under the No Surprises Act).
  • Draft persuasive written arguments and compile supporting documentation for dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Collaborate closely with U.S.-based operations, product, and legal teams to refine internal processes and templates.
  • Monitor case outcomes and help evolve strategy and training resources based on real-world arbitration results.

Qualifications:

  • 2–6 years post-qualification experience in litigation, regulatory, insurance, or commercial law.
  • Strong written advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Interest in developing expertise in U.S. healthcare regulation (training provided).
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, tech-enabled environment.

Bonus Points For:

  • Prior exposure to international dispute resolution or arbitration.
  • Experience with regulatory filings, compliance frameworks, or legal ops.
  • Background in managing legal workflows using technology or case tracking systems.
