A global, full-service law firm is seeking a mid-level M&A Associate Attorney to join its high-performing corporate group in New York City. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage M&A, divestiture, joint venture, and private equity transactions from start to finish

• Draft, negotiate, and review definitive acquisition and investment agreements

• Advise clients across financial, strategic, and regulatory considerations

• Serve as lead associate on deal teams and coordinate with cross-functional colleagues

• Handle high-volume, deadline-sensitive transactions with autonomy and precision

• Engage directly with clients and senior firm leadership throughout the deal process

Qualifications:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in M&A or private equity transactions at a major U.S. law firm

• Admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing

• J.D. from a top-tier, ABA-accredited law school

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex corporate deals independently

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills

• Clear communication and leadership qualities essential for client interaction
