Position Summary

HMH is seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter and Cabinet Installer to join our team. This role is critical in executing detailed millwork and cabinetry installations, overseeing finish carpentry on-site, and ensuring the highest standards of fit and finish. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in high-end residential work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and fine woodwork with precision and care
  • Lead carpentry scope in-field, coordinate with PMs, supers, and subcontractors
  • Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings; verify dimensions and layout accuracy
  • Maintain quality control and proactively resolve issues
  • Collaborate with site supervisors to sequence work and ensure jobsite readiness
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in residential finish carpentry and cabinet installation
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-end millwork, cabinetry, and site-built woodwork
  • Ability to lead and supervise carpentry crews on active job sites
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and finish tolerances
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
