Description:
Advisory, Analytical, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) Services are required to provide operational and technical support to aid leadership at Headquarters, United States Air Force HQ USAF in providing for the defense of the United States and allies/coalition partner nations. The Client’s requirements include employment of Air Advisor capabilities, managing Joint level Irregular Warfare tasks, supporting the Ready Airman Training (RAT) program, and supporting the Multi-Capable Airman (MCA) program for the Senior Executive Authority. AP3SI is seeking experienced subject matter experts with knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience to meet HQ USAF, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) tasks and US Congressional inquiries.
Irregular Warfare Analyst Duties Required:
● Provides operational and strategic SME level support in the areas of irregular warfare and Joint Staff Action Process (JSAP), including broad-canvas expertise. Applies expertise to support implementation of strategic guidance including the National Defense Strategy (NDS) and the National Military Strategy (NMS); this includes supporting the Joint Strategic Planning System. Provides analysis, research, policy support, and conducts research in joint integration, capacity and capabilities assessment, and planning, strategy, policy, and concepts development.
● Conducts open-source and classified research and analysis related to Air Force strategy development, strategy implementation, and participation in defense strategy reviews.
● Prepares background papers and briefings for senior leaders.
Qualifications/Requirements:
● TOP SECRET (with SCI eligibility) security clearance required. Please do not apply if you do not have this.
● Must have a bachelor's degree (BA, BS, etc.) as a minimum. / a Master's Degree is desired.
● Must have a minimum of 3 years in Air Force Staff . / Special Duty Identifier 89- series desired.
● Must have experience within the last five (5) years in irregular warfare and irregular warfare-related issues. Should have experience in applying irregular warfare expertise to implementing strategic guidance, including the National Defense Strategy (NDS) and National Military Strategy (NMS). Irregular Warfare expertise must be documented.
● Must have excellent communications skills in terms of writing, presenting, and
conflict resolution
● Must have Knowledge of Air Force Service-level planning and programming (this should be highlighted in your resume).
