Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Girls at MSD of Mt. Vernon located in Evansville, IN. The Head Girls will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to girls' programs, including coaching, mentoring, and leadership development. They will work closely with students, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive environment for girls' education and personal growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build “Level Up” culture within volleyball program, K-12
• Support "Level Up" culture of MVHS Athletic Department
• Develop "Level Up" multi-sport athletes
• Hire "Level Up" coaching staff for high school
• Align "Level Up" staff for junior high and youth programs
• Conduct camps and clinics for skill development of K-12 athletes and coaches
• Administer a well-articulated plan for skills development and program development: pre-season, in-season, and post-season
• Support year-round weightlifting to build and strengthen athletes
• Clearly identify responsibilities and expectations of assistant coaches
• Actively structure, direct, and be visible to youth program
• Build positive PR and communication effectively with stakeholders, assistant coaches, colleagues, athletic director, and administration
• Properly build and maintain news media relationships
• Properly issue, maintain, care for, and collect equipment, uniforms, and practice gear
• Support procedures for proper use and maintenance of high school facilities.

Qualifications

Playing experience preferred • Coaching experience at the high school

level preferred • Experience in working with successful feeder programs preferred • Teaching license preferred • All teaching license areas will be considered• NFHS/ IHSAA coaching certifications required (can be completed upon hiring)
