Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead commercial electrical projects with expertise and precision. The ideal candidate will oversee the installation of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical crews on-site to ensure timely project completion.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes.
  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical systems and components.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in all electrical work.
  • Manage project scheduling and resource allocation to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols on the job site.
  • Collaborate with construction management teams to align electrical work with overall project goals.
  • Assist in budgeting processes for electrical projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices.

Qualifications

  • Electrical commercial project: 3 years (Required)
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes related to electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Experience with project scheduling software such as Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Driver's License (Required)
