Data Center Developer | Multiple Locations | North America

I am recruiting for Director and Principal (VP) level Solutions Engineering positions on behalf of a Data Center Developer, Owner & Operator with a focus on hyperscale.

The Role:

• Lead technical sales engagements.
• Leverage data center design and engineering expertise to develop client solutions.
• Manage relationships with data center technical SMEs.
• Act as an Engineering lead to design solutions that meet clients' needs.
• Improve client engagement.
• Lead technical tours and sales presentations.
• Handle RFPS and RFIs.

Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Center Engineering.
• Building development and construction.
• Deep expertise in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Data Center design and construction techniques.
• Experience with Data Center fit-out projects.
• Understanding of sales processes and working with technical buyers and site selection professionals.
• Data Center expertise – construction, building design, construction.
• Ability to articulate complex solutions.
• Education in a relevant data center engineering discipline.
• Software: AutoCAD, Tileflor, Revu, CFD.

Location:

• Hybrid across any of these locations: Atlanta, Calgary, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, New Albany, Northern Virginia, Phoenix, Portland, Silicon Valley, Toronto

Bonus:

• Experience designing infrastructure to support AI/ML (direct-to-chip, immersion, cold plate).
• CDU selection, ASHRAE, GPU operating profile.

Compensation:

• Principal: $250k base +20% bonus
• Director: $185k base + 20% bonus
